DEH is an owner-managed business with a long baking tradition. We are deeply rooted in a warm bakery and still have the passion for ice cold trends and innovative bakery products. Since more then 30 years we are the leading specialist for deep frozen bakery goods in Germany and we are also becoming more and more successful in the international market.
Our full assortment with more than 600 bakery products is our pride: We produce and trade deep frozen rolls, bread, baguette, sweet and savory pastries, fried pastries and seasonal specialties. Furthermore we offer you Non-Food items and consumables for your out-of-home business.
Built on best family traditions

That’s how Doris Entrup’s business idea can be summed up in one sentence!
The outstanding success story of Doris Entrup began in 1987 in a one-room-office. Her business plan could be seen as a bridge between her childhood –her father was a master baker with his own bakery in Osnabrück – and her extensive experience as a Key Account Management with large retailers etc. With entrepreneurial foresight, Mrs. Entrup bet on the booming market of frozen bakery goods in a very early stage and established a national distribution system.
In the 90s DEH built their own IFS certified (“Higher level”) production capacities at home and abroad. Today we produce rolls, lye pastries, Berliner and Danish in two production sites. An efficient deep frozen logistics with 21 distribution warehouses guaranties a national availability.
Alexander Haselbach, son of our founder, he took over the sales management in 2005. Since 2009 he is part of the management of the company. Mr. Haselbach has built up the export department of DEH. Our bakery goods are sold to more than 31 country all over the globe.
In 2019, the shareholder Doris Entrup retired from the management of her successful life's work DEH and has since accompanied the fate of the DEH Group as a strategic advisor.

Our Production
DEH-FACTORY IN NAGYATÁD, HUNGARY
Since 1992, the DEH plant in Nagyatád, Hungary, has been producing semi-automatic lye pastries as well as fried and puff pastry. 150 employees in Hungary manufacture individual bakery products, partly handcrafted, according to special customer requirements. The flexible production chain makes it possible to also produce smaller batch sizes.

DEH-FACTORY IN HEIDEN, WESTPHALIA
Since 1999, the DEH has been operating a second production plant in Heiden, North Rhine-Westphalia. The DEH plant has four fully-automated production lines with state-of-the-art process technology. The DEH quality bread rolls are produced here in a three-shift operation. Since 2020 DEH‘s production of quark balls and other fried specialties is done using one of the most advanced and modern machines for fried pastries.

DEH FROZEN CENTRAL WAREHOUSE IN WILLICH, NORTH RHINE-WESTPHALIA
DEH is strengthening its logistics capabilities and will take over the frozen storage facility in Willich, North Rhine-Westphalia, previously operated by the Nagel Group, including all employees, effective March 1, 2026. With this step, DEH sends a clear signal for growth and improved product availability for its approximately 3,150 customers.
With around 8,000 pallet spaces, the warehouse will serve as DEH’s central frozen storage hub, consolidating the company’s entire product portfolio.
Five delivery days per week, nationwide delivery within 24 hours starting from just 60 kg free to the customer’s door in every postal code area, and maximum inventory reliability: our commitment is clear – speed, transparency, and dependability in every delivery.
With an investment of approximately €7 million, modernized loading and conveyor technology, new IT infrastructure, and a strong team of 45 colleagues, we are consistently advancing our logistics operations. Operating the facility in-house enables us to optimize logistics costs, maximize flexibility, and align even more closely with the needs of our customers.
Because for us, then as now: the customer is at the center of everything we do. And performance does not end with production – it begins with availability.
REGIONAL RESPONSIBILITY
Responsibility does not end at our factory gates.
In the 1980s, Doris Entrup built her company as a single mother. This period was marked by responsibility, courage, and perseverance.
It was precisely this experience that sharpened her awareness of how crucial reliable support and stable framework conditions are for families. By establishing the Doris Entrup Foundation, she created a sustainable framework to provide targeted support for children, young people, and families.
The foundation promotes youth welfare projects and particularly supports single parents and their children – with a clear regional focus on the Ennepe-Ruhr district. Here, the foundation provides financial support to non-profit organizations, collaborates with municipal partners, and implements its own projects where direct assistance can make an immediate impact.
The foundation represents what also defines our entrepreneurial actions: taking responsibility, creating opportunities, and strengthening structures – today and for future generations.

Empower children and help shape the future!
It is estimated that in Cochabamba (Bolivia) about 32,000 children live on the streets without parental care. They are at risk of exploitation by adults, drug addiction and involvement in criminal activities.
In 2019, DEH sponsored a child with Plan International. Luz is now 8 years old and lives with her mother and little brother in Bolivia.
In 2020, we took over the sponsorship of an SOS Children's Village.
With a sponsorship, we help people with sustainable self-help projects that benefit not only individual children, but the entire community in which our sponsored children live.
