Apprenticeship at DEH – anything but boring!

At DEH, we educate young people in various areas, including office management, wholesale and foreign trade management, as well as digital and print media design. They are supported by their professional instructor, who share knowledge, encourage development and gradually enable them to take on responsibility.

It is especially rewarding when this journey continues at DEH. This year, we are taking on two former apprentices as permanent team members: Maike and Benjamin.

Maike completed her apprenticeship as a Digital and Print Media Designer in our marketing department. She describes her years as exciting, creative, varied and fun. One of her most memorable experiences was visiting Anuga 2023, as well as helping to plan our company celebration and Christmas party: projects where ideas became real experiences.

Benjamin completed apprenticeship as an Office Management Assistant and gained insights into many areas of our company: from sales, scheduling, export, accounting and purchasing to quality assurance. What he particularly appreciated was the variety, the collaboration with friendly colleagues and the opportunity to gradually take on more responsibility.

What makes us especially happy is that Maike and Benjamin have not only grown professionally. They have become part of our team.

This is exactly what good apprenticeship means to us. Not just passing on knowledge. Not just explaining tasks. But giving trust, enabling development and showing young people: you are needed here.
