In the 1980s, Doris Entrup built the company as a single mother and entrepreneur. What began back then is now being carried forward in the second generation. Today, Alexander Haselbach leads the company with clear strategic direction, an international growth trajectory, and a strong commitment to sustainable entrepreneurship, consistently driving its continued development.

What remains is the foundation: taking responsibility – for our employees, partners, and the region. At DEH, entrepreneurial action is always long-term in perspective. Social engagement is not an add-on; it is an expression of who we are – both regionally and internationally.

A visible sign of this commitment is the Doris Entrup Foundation. It provides a sustainable framework to specifically support children, young people, and families. Its focus lies on promoting youth welfare projects and supporting single parents and their children.

Rooted in the Ennepe-Ruhr district, the foundation operates both as a funding and implementing organization. It provides financial support to non-profit institutions, collaborates with municipal partners, and initiates its own projects wherever direct assistance can create an immediate impact.

The foundation represents what also defines our entrepreneurial actions: taking responsibility, creating opportunities, and strengthening structures – within the company as well as in society.
